If simple corrections are needed, we ask you forward these via e-mail to your 6 Resumes consultant. We will provide one correction/ simple revision at no cost to you. Additional resume revisions can be requested for an additional fee as highlighted in the service section. Clients often request resume revisions when targeting specific industries.

6 Resumes uses a combination of techniques to gather information about your professional experience, goals and important achievements. Once you’ve selected the appropriate professional resume or executive resume package, a professional resume consultant designated to your project will provide you with a background and skills assessment document via email.  This career worksheet is designed to gain valuable information, in your own words, regarding each resume section. Once we receive your completed career assessment, we begin drafting your resume and follow up by email or telephone to clarify issues and/or seek additional information. The process is simple! We just need your input.

Once the 6 Resumes consultant creates a final proof, they will provide you with a Microsoft Word file and a PDF file (you would need the free Adobe viewer to access this file). You may request the ASCII text (electronic) version of your resume if needed. You can print copies from either the Word or PDF version.

How is communication handled during the resume development process?

A 6 Resumes consultant will determine whether an email of phone conversation is most appropriate for questions during the project. Your first communication will consist of an introductory email with the required background and skills assessment worksheet. You’ll agree it’s the most efficient and timely form of communicating. You’ll have the opportunity to complete the required assessment and include a current copy of your resume at the time or time zone that is convenient for you. Any additional follow-up may include an additional email or phone call.
